Fred's Fish House

Review content:
Fred's Fish House has the freshest tasting catfish of any restaurant in Mountain Home. The fillets are a nice size and fried in a cornmeal batter that compliments the fish perfectly. The fish and fries can be ordered either regular or cajun style. Each fish dinner comes with hushpuppies, green tomatoes, dill pickles, and a slice of sweet onion. The dinners come is sizes like "lil un" (3 pieces), "big un" (6 pieces), or grandaddy (all you can eat, but starts with 8 pieces). The value is phenomenal, the staff is friendly, and the location of the restaurant is out of the hustle and bustle of the city.
The only problem with Fred's is that the smoking section in the restaurant is located in the lower area of the room. Of course, this is where the view of the Lake Norfork is best, but the smoke comes up into the non-smoking area.
