Businiess name:  Shakespeare Tavern
Review by:  Tabitha M.
Review content:
I attended a performance in August 2005 of "The Tempest" at the New American Shakespeare Tavern, and was pleasantly surprised that Shakespeare has quite a following in Atlanta, Georgia, with packed houses for weekend performances. I came to see a friend, Matthew Trautwein, act in the play and was impressed by the talents of all the cast and crew, as they performed their lines in classic Shakespearean fashion, with minimal props. The music was lovely, with Matthew performing the songs on lute and acccompanied on flute, as well as his melodic tenor singing (nice costume, String!). There is a limited menu, but tasty and well-prepared by the catering team. I hope to attend another play here this summer or fall.
