IHOP has always been for me one of those places you usually don't think of going but find yourself drawn to every once in a while. Every few months or so I get a demanding craving for their always tasty pancakes and some breakfast sides. Because they serve breakfast all day, I am able to satisfy this craving anywhere from 11 in the morning, till 3 at night (and in between those times if I wasn't sleeping).
I usually have nice service. Most of the waitstaff is friendly and courteous. I do notice they seem to have a high turnover rate so it's likely your waiter could be new resulting in slower service.
I can't say anything about their lunch and dinner options, but if you ever get a craving for pancakes AND eggs AND bacon AND sausage, this is probably the best bang for your buck.
