Review content:
McDonalds has been making a big fuss about its coffee lately. I got a free coupon for a free cup, so I decided to check it out. Now that I have tried it, I can't say that it was anything special. I'm not loving it, particularly. McDonalds has always had surprisingly decent coffee, and this new brew is not much of a noticeable upgrade. If they want to compete on the basis of their coffee, they will have to do better. McDonalds does have good fries -- hard to go wrong with crunch and salt and grease. Their Egg McMuffins are still the best breakfast sandwich around, but McGriddles are a worthy addition. Looks like they are looking for something new to attract customers. I don't think it's going to be the coffee, but it is good to see them try.
