Fayetteville Solid Waste & Recycling

Review content:
I'm so happy I live in a community where recycling is embraced! The city of Fayetteville runs a curbside recycling, yard waste pick up and regular trash pick up along with one bulky waste pick up per year. They also hold Ward dropoff days for bulky waste, and citywide drop off days as well.
The city runs a composting and mulch service with the yard waste they pick up. You can purchase both compost and mulch at a low cost several times during the year, and it's very good quality. I have used both items in my yard for years.
Trash pick up is by the bin size...you can contract for a small, medium or large bin. You pay less each month if you generate less trash. This encourages people to recycle more.
