Review content:
I wasn't sure what to expect of Corio. I thought it would be a burlesque club where the focus isn't on the food. And while the burlesque performances are awesome, the food DEFINITELY shines at this restaurant- My friends and I feasted on two "tiers" which had select items from the menu. The popcorn shrimp were crispy and perfectly spiced; the bruschetta was refreshingly different(lime butter?!); everyone loved the thin crispy pizza and the steak, and my personal favorite, a real gem, were the bacon wrapped dates. Riculously good! With the comfy couches and the wine that kept a-flowin, my friends and I lingered way longer than most people should ever stay at a restaurant. The sound system is off the hook, so venturing elsewhere really didn't feel all that necessary when we were swaying, drinking, and stuffing our faces. I highly reccommend Corio to all Manhattanites and will be returning there myself in the very near future!
Pros: Great lighting, burlesque, and FOOD!!!!!
