Review content:
We spent an enjoyable day at Disney's Animal Kingdom last fall. The only downside to the visit at all was that my daughter's were disappointed that the newest attraction - Mt. Everest - was not yet completed.
The park is safari themed and does a wonderful job of displaying animals in beautiful, natural settings. Because I was pregnant at the time I was unable to go on many of the rides but the rest of my family really seemed to enjoy them, especially the dinosaur ride.
I personally enjoyed the visit to Animal Kingdom because the pace seemed slower than at many of the other parks. We enjoyed the parade although it did block us from getting to where we needed to go.
Because we were part of a Magical Gathering group we were able to take a special Safari Tour and Dinner. The tour was great and the dinner was delicious.
While not as exciting as some of the other parks at Disney, Animal Kingdom is a wonderful place to spend the day.
