Well, I recently stayed at the Bahia Mar and I must say that I would NEVER pay the prices posted on their website....I think it is normally about $200 a night. We went for a conference so it wasn't our money.
Our room was a standard with two queen beds, balcony overlooking the gulf, tv, phone, desk, closet, ironing board, blowdry, small sink, small microwave, small fridge and 2 burners for a stove. It also had some plates, glasses, pots and pans and silverware.
The hotel really needs a makeover. It looks very plain and outdated. Although the grounds are beautiful and the pools are nice. The beach is very small and the picture on their website really makes it look like a "resort". I was disappointed. Next time we will stay at the Travelodge next door because it is cheaper and much nicer.
