This is one of those treasures we only discovered because it's close to our home. Every year Ray Peterson (of Peterson Realty) has so many beautiful iris. They usually advertise in the Idaho Press-Tribune classifieds when the iris are ready to be cut and we always hope there are plenty in bloom for Memorial Day. We'll go out and pick up a dozen or two on our way to visit cemetaries and I so enjoy having them available. My grandmother always had a spectacular iris garden and walking among the iris brings back so many childhood memories.
Again, something that's always part of my reviews, the Petersons are so good to my kids. I encourage my kids to help pick which iris we'll cut and they are wonderful about cutting just the right bloom.
The Petersons will also take orders for bulbs and we've had wonderful success ordering from them (although we keep going back each year for the variety).
Watch for their ad. This is something we look forward to each year.
