I have always heard rave reviews about STK, but recently I went there myself thinking it was going to a fabulous experience that I could go home and tell my friends about and brag how great of a time it was. I guess that was all wishful thinking. Bragging is the last thing I want to do. The service there was horrible! The party I was with booked reservations over a month ago, thinking it would make the night go smoothly. Our table wasn't ready when we got there, which was fine but when a hour nearly passed it became very frustrating. What good is a reservation if they don't uphold it? We tried not to let that bother us, but for ordering bottle service all night, I thought by the time we did get seated the waitress would have been a bit understanding about the wait and accommodating to our needs. Instead she acted in such an absurd, thoughtless, and offending manor. I was appalled! A gentleman from another table even came over and asked us about the waitress because he even noticed her actions. I can say that the friends I went with were a bit more patient then I because by the time the manager stepped in and apologized for his servers behavior I was too fed up to even hear the spiel he had to offer on her defense that I had to excuse myself. I couldn't have been any more hurt by how insulting the staff was! There is NO justification to what happened that night. It was supposed to be a special birthday celebration which ended in complete unhappiness.
