STK will not last! We went there once when they first opened and they were all nice and very inviting. The food is great. The service, totally pretentious....We were on our way there for dinner saturday but when we showed up, they couldnt find our reservation and they apparently couldnt accomodate us at all....so here's what we did, we went down the street to a lovely lil spot with a gorgeous heated garden and we had a blast. the service there was good. We didnt feel like we had to be part of the 'meatpaking elite' to get a table. STK is a trend. If they dont change their 'we're the best around' attitude, they're gonna crash. The host was awful!!! And even after showing them my reservation confirmation they said they couldnt get me a table.....never again! Steak is steak...served with so much attitude, it doesnt taste good!
