As someone who gre up on Long Island, NY, I grew up eating good Italian. I heard this was one of the premiere Italian places around, so when 2 of my friends from NYC were in town I figured I would take them here. WORST MISTAKE EVER! We had a variety of dishes ranging from the traditional... to the more exotic seafood special. The marinara tasted bland, almost like it came out of a jar. The lettuce in my salad was brown and looked like it had been made @ 8am. The fish (which was supposed to be some exoitc expensive fish) tasted like it was a frozen tilapia filet they bought at Sam's Club. Just disgusting! Dont ger me started on the lasagne. it was soggy and tasted like its been a fridge for 3 days.Worst of all, the portions were tiny. I dont mind shelling out $$$ for good food. I did it a lot in NY, bu this was just crud. What really got me was that the owners or managers have a serious elitest attitude. Case in point, there were two gentleman 2 tables over who must have been big shots... our waitor and the manager spent about 90% of their time over there making sure they were happy. Nothign worse then dropping your fork midmeal and having to flag down a busboy 10 mins later because youre waitor is MIA. I can go on writing this for a while, but ill save my fingers the agony. To summarize, the food is awful, its way over priced, and unless youre a bigshot, the service is AWFUL. Just for reference, our bill was over $150, so its not like we sat there and warranted being treated like gum on a shoe. DO NOT DINE HERE, UNLESS YOU LIKE PAYING FOR MEDIOCRE FOOD + SUBPAR SERVICE! Pros: town square is a nice area Cons: EVERYTHING
