I was so excited to go to Johnny Carino's for the first time. Good Italian is hard to find, and I am particularly picky about pasta carbonara. So when I saw on their online menu that they appeared to make it properly (with peas!) I was pleased. But I apparently made the mistake of taking my baby with me. In her car seat. They refused to let me do what most restaurants do, which is turn a high chair over so the seat can hook into the base. The sling they offered instead was rickety and one good bump would have sent it flying in shreds. Instead, they had me put the car seat on a chair, with no arms and no attachment. And they were pretty darn snotty about it too. As a result, I haven't been back, nor will I ever go back. The food isn't worth the attitude and the non-family friendly treatment.
