Review content:
The place was really cool. I enjoyed the cozy feeling, the atmosphere, and the crowd. The wine was also very good. It's such ashame that the staff was completely AWFUL. I asked about the availability of a certain wine and one of them just retorted that I should take a look at the menu. Then, when I was placing an order, the other girl was extremely rude to me as well. We didn't know that the bar closed at midnight and my friend ordered a bottle of wine 5 minutes before closing. We barely even had a sip of wine before they were pushing us out the door. I think she could have told us they were about to close before she poured us 4 glasses of wine. She pretty much made us chug our wine and then made it seem like it was the end of the world that she had to stay 5 minutes after closing. I'm not trying to be unsympathetic because I have worked in the restaurant industry before and I know how it feels when people stay after closing, but in every restaurant environment I've worked, we've never once rushed people to leave. I guess you can argue that this is a "bar," but I think it would have been nice for them to tell us when closing was before they let us order another bottle and I think they could have been a little more professional throughout the night.
Pros: Cool place, good wine
Cons: HORRIBLE service, hours
