Review content:
Target has finally come to Newburgh! The new store opened in the old Ames Plaza on Route 17K roughly a month ago, and the parking lot and store have been jammed ever since. This store is preferable to the nearby Wal Mart and KMart, in my opinion. Not only do they have more fashionable and cheap clothing options, they also have a limited grocery selection at very fair prices (including the Lean Cuisines I like to bring to work for lunch), high quality housewares, and a great book, CD and movie selection. The bonus with the new Target is that, instead of the fast food stands they installed in older stores, they now have a Starbucks at the front of the store. I can't think of a better way to spend my money and a free afternoon! It is about time that Newburgh have the good retail offerings that are available in Poughkeepsie and Middletown. We have just as many people living around here and most of us do not want to drive up Route 9 or Route 84 to do our shopping.
