Cyndi is a licensed nurse midwife who has her own practice and previously had an arrangement to deliver babies at Swedish Hospital in Ballard. Now she delivers at either Group Health or the Community Birth Center (montlake). Since she works alone you are virtually guaranteed that she will deliver your baby rather than whoever is "on call". Cyndi was super to work with during my pregnancy. Office visits usually lasted 45 minutes to an hour: plenty of time for me to remember all my questions and talk about ways to have a healthy pregnancy. Very friendly and calm, easy to reach for the odd question or concern and knowledgable of recent research and medical findings. She volunteered to come to my house for the early stages of labor and was very competent and reassuring during the delivery.
