Review content:
The Denham Springs Hot Wok is a carbon copy of basically every To-Go Chinese Food restaurant you've ever ordered from. There's no eat-in section; all orders are to-go. Prices are very good (their combination plates are an especially good value), and they give you a great quantity of food for the price. The only problem is, the food is only so-so in quality, in fact, most of it is way too greasy even for my south Louisiana taste.
Most orders are ready in 10 or 15 minutes. Staff is friendly though very hard to understand!
I really dislike their hot and sour soup (Bamboo House across from Chuck E. Cheese's in Baton Rouge has got THE BEST hot and sour soup around), but their egg drop is passable. I've tried various entrees like the shrimp with lobster sauce, shrimp lo mein, and General Tso's chicken... they all come with copious amounts of roast pork fried rice, but everything is greasy.
I'd say if you want quick Chinese food at a cheap price, especially if to-go is your thing, Hot Wok is acceptable. But this is all about quantity, not quality.
