Review content:
Being a child living in Galveston many moons ago, my husband had fond memories of dining out at the Long John Silver with his family and loving the food so that was the one place he was looking forward to on our Galveston vacation.
We quickly found the place, quickly settled at a table and ordered our food.
My selection was chicken and hush puppies due to my not caring for seafood. The rest of the seafood loving family ordered fish.
Upon arrival of our food we were surprised to discover that all of our meals looked the same and everything on all of our plates had the same breading. Upon a taste test-the chicken tasted just like the fish and they were both very bland. About the only thing we ended up eating were a few of the hush puppies which also had the breading.
Bottom Line: Everything taste the same, maybe good for very little kids that don't care that eveything tastes and looks the same, but if you're a big kid--forget it.
We won't be eating here again.
