West Lake grocery store is small, but they manage to fit a pretty wide selection of Asian groceries in there. All of the basic noodles, rices, canned coconut milk, and prepackaged mixes are well represented, Some of their bagged spices are quite a bargain, as long as you don't mind the rather large quantities. The produce area, as you might expect, is very small. However, you can definitely find the ingredients to make a mean miso soup here too. If you are just starting to explore Asian cooking, don't expect a lot of guidance or advice from the proprietors. They are very pleasant, but the language barrier is sometimes considerable. It is a good place to find authentic Asian ingredients at a good price.
