Review content:
Our family's experience was very poor at Village Hut; in particular the service was just plain pathetic. We had a party of 25 and the staff literally brought the garbage can out to our tables and took our dishes without asking. That was simply disrespectful and the smell of garbage didn't add to our satisfaction. During a second visit, I was a friend of a guest's party and I thought to give them a second chance. However, this time the service was poor and after repeatedly asking for water, we finally received paper cups in which we had to pour water ourselves. Also, instead of dinner napkins we had plain paper napkins, such as those we use in our household. Now I don't expect royal treatment, but when paying 12 - 15 dollars a dish, you would expect just a little more. Village Hut unfortunately is poorly managed and lacks customer service greatly. Save yourself the trip and go elsewhere to enjoy Indian Cuisine...don't say I didn't warn you. -J. Byrnes MD, Chicago, IL. Pros: parking Cons: service
