Businiess name:  Scruffy Duck Full Service Car Wash
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I recently wanted to get my car cleaned up, and decided to check out one of the local businesses to have my car detailed. I choose scruffy duck car was in cary/apex based solely on the fact that it was right up the street, big mistake. After paying 100 dollars for a detail, I returned to pick up my car to find that it would not shift out of first gear. I spoke with the owner, Mike Wendell, who was not at all helpful, and blamed the problem on the age of my car. A seven year old mercedes, well maintained shouldnt be having these problems on its own. When I took the car to get serviced, the mechanic showed me how a great deal of cleaning liquid was spilled down into my shifter, preventing the shifter from functioning properly, nothing to do with the age of the car. Mike Wendell felt that his business was not at fault however, and refused help at all with the replacement of the parts that his business destroyed!!! 1350 dollars!!!!!! Dont take your car to this car wash, unless you want extreme negligence and destruction of your property.
