Businiess name:  Miller's Ale House
Review by:  Denise G.
Review content:
I went to Miller's Ale House for lunch yesterday. I had heard good things from people who had braved the evening rush (and waited over an hour for a table). Lunch is probably the way to go, if you're just interested in checking the new place out. It was pretty slow (a small crowd of state/capitol workers). Despite the lack of a capacity crowd, the service was incredibly slow - I did not get my soft drink until I had almost finished my lunch. This could have been because they were training new staff. I ordered a shrimp lunch and the shrimp was slightly overdone (rubbery in texture). Otherwise everyone (a group of 5) reported their food was simply OK. I noticed that they have $5 pitchers of beer anytime and a large selection (around 30 beers) on tap. This may be their saving grace, and is the only reason that I could see myself coming back. One last thing: I assumed that this place was a sports bar owned by Miller Brewing (maybe it was the font of the signage on the side of the building)....but there is no affiliation. Miller's Ale House is a Florida based franchise headquartered in Jupiter. It's less sports bar (aka AJ's, Pockets, Snookers, etc) and more restaurant and bar with tons of tvs tuned to sports (like a Hooters or such).
