Review content:
I'm not sure if it is because they are the only Volvo dealer in town or what, but the service I received at this establisment was horrible. I moved from Houston and was used to the service there. Waiting on an oil change? 30-45 minutes. Have to drop off your car for service? Loaner car. The first time I ever used this place, I went to get an oil change. Took them about 2 hours to get me. I was sitting in the little waiting room waiting. I had to go out and find my service advisor just to get my car (I found him at his desk talking to his wife about dinner plans). This was after I was told it would be another 20 minutes. Ok, so maybe this was an isolated incident. But it wasn't. I repeatedly went back for oil changes, repairs, etc, and was disappointed with the service more than half the time. Their time estimates as far as how many days it would take to get something back to me were always off, making me wait longer to get my car back. I never got a loaner car from them, either. I finally learned just to drop my car off for an oil change and come back 4 hours later to get it. I also started timing visits back to Houston to coincide with maintenance intervals so I could get service done in Houston instead. I finally sold my car less than 2 years ago and while I would have liked to stay with the Volvo family (I like the car), I decided to go with another manufacturer just because I knew I wouldn't be able to stand going back to that dealership. Maybe if I move out of Austin, I will buy another Volvo. But till then, I will stay away.
