Review content:
I have been appalled by the "customer service" that I have received at this dentist over the past 8 months. I have been treated very rudely, overcharged and now I will never return.
The receptionist is clearly hates life and people-- she is brash, mean, demanding and to top it all off is terrible at the tasks that make a dental receptionist important (e.g., answering the phone, being cordial, getting patients seen, scheduling appointments, confirming appointments). For example, they have never called me before a scheduled appointment to confirm or remind me as EVERY other doctor in the world does.
Further, when I asked if they could remind me of my cleaning that was 6 mos away, she said that they did not send reminder postcards or call and that it was my responsibility to remember. Since I have never missed an appointment, I shugged this off as a bad policy since I knew I could set up an email reminder on my computer and make it in. Well, today was the day of the appointment and I showed up on time to find the lights out and door locked at 9am!! Unbelievable! Their business hours as noted on the door say 8am-1pm on Fridays, and there were no other notes indicating vacations or anything like that. I never received a reminder call, which was totally expected (unfortunately), but I never thought that I would be stood up by the dentist!! This is the most unprofessional dentist/dental office I have ever been to, and I will never return. Also, when they did see me for an appointment 6 months ago, they charged me for a cleaning that my insurance covered, stating that they had to do extra work since it had been over a year since I had been to a dentist-- so I gave them a check for $50+ and they charged my insurance company for the cleaning as well... How long was I in the dentist's chair for this "deeper cleaning"??? 15 minutes. That's right!
The moral of the story: Save yourself pain and agony and go someplace else. Anywhere would be better.
Pros: None other than that the dentist himself was average at best.
Cons: Worst staff I have ever seen. VERY unprofessional. Gross location.
