I looked on their website and saw that they offer a free 3-day pass to use the gym. So I went in and asked about it - they tried to tell me guest passes are $20 a day. Um, I don't think so. Then they told me well, if you use a free pass, you can't get a discount on a membership when (if) you sign up. They try to get you to sign up right away and then take $60 (the price of 3 days, supposedly) off the price. No way. I just want to try out the gym, I said. Well then they take you on a super long tour when in reality it's just a gym - it's pretty easy to figure out where everything is. Once the sales guy found out I wasn't going to be signing up, like, right then he lost all his enthusiasm and acted like kind of a jerk. Right, like that's going to really make me want to sign up. Plus the gym was crowded and the people seemed stuck up, so I don't think I'll be trading in my Bally's membership any time soon.
