My wife had a HORRIBLE experience at this salon. Lamar completely ruined her hair color. I am sure there are very talented stylists here, but that was not her experience. My wife requested a blonde dye job with the possibility of going gray/silver if it went light enough. The blonde looked amazing and we should have stopped it there. Lamar wanted to go further, so he attempted the gray. The end result is that her hair has patches of blue, patches of orange, patches of blonde, and some patches of the actual gray. She was there about 5 hours and the end result is unacceptable. The fact that Lamar and the manager let her leave with this color job is unfathomable. It cost us $280. See photos. The typical policy of these places is to have you come back in so they can fix it. That's reasonable. However, this experience was extremely traumatizing for my wife and she left the salon sobbing - obviously she has no desire to go back to this place, even to see another stylist. So we want to go somewhere else to get it fixed - some place we can trust - which will cost us even more money. I requested a refund from the owner, who was very confrontational. She said my wife signed their contract, which is true, and they spent lots of time working on her hair, which is true. But if you did that bad of a job and upset someone that much, sometimes you just have to suck it up and take the loss. As a business owner, I would just refund a customer who had this bad of an experience rather than have to bend over backwards to make them happy and get all of the negative reviews. The owner refused, saying that if everyone wanted a refund, they would go out of business. If you ruin someone's hair, I feel you should do anything possible to make it right. We will not be returning and advise you to do the same.
