I had a breast augmentation in April of 2019. The surgeon was Dr. Kyllo. During the consults I felt listened to, and gave them a 2,000 deposit. They took that happily, and told me my total out of pocket should be $4,000. This was a procedure that was covered by insurance. I went in for surgery, and they pretty much rushed me through the prep, and I never saw the DR.. No one marked me up so that things would be even. I was taken into the surgery center, and still not marked up. When I came out of surgery I felt as i should, but still hadn't been marked up. The next day checking out the work, it looked like my right breast was considerably higher. I had been told that not to worry, things settle differently. At the 7 week appt, Dr. Kyllo acknowledged that the right was at least 1/2 in higher, then scampered out of the room with a look of panic. He came back 10 minutes latter, and sent me to his patient coordinator, who immediately wanted my ins card again, and to schedule a revision at my cost. HUH? So I sit here today with two different size boobs at different height I cant have a revision yet because the scars are still to new. They have sent me bills totaling about $6,700 which they have not deducted my deposit out of $2,000. So the doctor later relented and said he would waive his "professional" fee, but I still have to pay the anesthesiologist and facility fees. I could have had this done out of pocket for 8000 and not dealt with all this. Oh yea, they charged my insurance TWICE for the surgery as well! STAY away!
