My wife and I were taken to Cau Chin by a friend that said he told her a bunch of stuff he shouldn’t know about. We kind of went as a joke. There some pretty strict rules about talking and laughing so we tried to behave. uncle 9 has a strange patois of English, Spanish mixed with an Asian accent. I was all set to roll my eyes as we sat on the floor in front of him. Ready to not get anything out off this, he immediately tells me my mother is behind me and says hi. My mother died in 1974. Mr Chin had no info on who we were or where we from. He continued to tell my wife and I when our parents would pass (we wrote all this down to check). He was just about spot on. He told us we would travel and we soon went to Europe. He said we would retire comfortably and move near water. At the time retirement was not guaranteed to be “comfortable”- we ended up coming into a good deal of money. Although we did move, the only water is a creek that runs through woods, I guess that technically counts. Basically we went I. Laughing and several years later after pulling out our notes, we were a bit stunned by his accuracy.
