My granddaughter found this sweet little Chiweenie on the website. She wanted it but was in another town and could not pick her up for several weeks so I went to Gainesville and adopted her and will foster her until my granddaughter can come get her sweet pup.
The people who worked at the shelter were the utmost professional, courteous people you would ever want to meet. They allowed me to spend as much time as I wanted with the pup, took her outside, walked on leash and I could see she would be the perfect match for my adult granddaughter. They called her Laney but she is now renamed Dottie (freckles galore on her) and she had the perfect temperament to fit in with my 6 dogs. I highly recommend this shelter if you are looking to adopt a pet.
