Review content:
Our delivery window for our new kitchen appliances (refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher) was on a Saturday from 1-5. I called the store in Bloomington at 4:50 and was told by Andy that the delivery team was still 40 minutes out. I found this unacceptable - not only were you not going to make a very generous 4 hour window that you gave us, but no one thought to call?
I asked Andy why no one thought it appropriate to call us and tell us that the delivery team was running late, and he proceeded to spend the next several minutes making excuses - I actually had to interrupt him and ask him to stop talking and making excuses! I heard everything from how installing appliances isn't an exact science, wouldn't I want my appliances installed correctly, teams run behind regularly in order to install correctly, and on and on for literally several minutes! Extremely unprofessional for a sales person to dominate a conversation with a customer and make excuses for why his team did not make the commitment that they set up.
The delivery being late and no phone call made to let us know was poor customer service itself, but the way I was treated on the phone when I reached out to the store is the reason I will not shop at DVD or recommend them.
All this being said, the actual delivery team was wonderful - professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.
