The last few times I have had to go to the service department, like usual, I am met by a service advisor. The attitudes have been horrible! I have felt like I am inconvenience get them! A few times, although I am not a mechanic, I have talked to the advisor and have expressed my opinion on what the trouble seems to be related to, and they talk down to me like I am stupid! Once the technicians take over the car, the work is done great and they are very nice, but the first people you meet have been the puts lately. Furthermore, this past weekend, I had to have my battery replaced in my car and the usual scenario happened, rudeness, and then they called to tell me a price for the battery that was prorated under my warranty. So, after paying the service department 100 bucks, I drove around and saw a pretty car and decided to go inside the showroom to find out what it would take to trade in my car, which was only 3 years old, and was purchased from Superior Hyundai. The salesman was happy to help me and I ended up buying a new 2016 model. When I asked them that since my car was going to be put in the used car lot, could I possibly get a refund on my battery that I had paid for only a few short hours earlier, well I was met with a response of, "no way!", which again made me feel so stupid, but it seemed reasonable to me. Anyway, after buying the new vehicle, some days passed by and I did have some questions for the finance department, so I called and was told that my guy would call me back, well never heard from him and so I had to go back to the dealership for some other issues and I decided I would ask to speak to him since I was there. Once I got to speak to him, he seemed suprised to see us and was wondering what we were doing there, I'm thinking, duh, you didn't call me back! So I'm asking him what I needed to find out and he is talking to me like I should have known the answer already. Guess I'm stupid once again! Don't get me wrong, thereally was something positive that came out of this. The day that I bought my new car, our salesmen were so awesome! Even when we had to go back for questions, they greeted us with a warm hello and a firm handshake as if they were truly happy to see us again. The experiencesecond that I have had in the service department has really sealed the deal for me and has made me decide to get my car serviced at another Hyundai dealership. Maybe they will appreciate their customers. And the other situations have left me still thinking about if I will refer anyone else to the dealership.
