I have been going to the Butcher Block for nearly 20 years now and have NEVER encountered any bad customer service. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a warm welcome and are waited on hand and foot. The people who work there are one in a million and are so helpful when it comes to the cut of the meat to the preparation and cooking of it. The Butcher Block is owned by a local family from Greenwood, I believe, and are Christians as well as responsible, caring people. Now for the gift card situation, I haven't heard of any incident of where the Butcher Block has rejected a gift card that wasn't reasonably out of date, so I don't quite believe her story completely. The Butcher Block is a great place, great food, and are altogether wonderful people. Instead of basing it off some internet site, why don't you go in there and base your opinion on how your treated and the quality of beef you will find there.
