Review content:
We had a good experience at ECEC with our dog (well, as good of an experience you can have when you are super worried about your dog). About 11pm on a week night I was just getting ready to fall asleep when our dog had some sort of weird siezure like thing. My husband and I panicked and we were in the car to the closest emergency clinic. I was a little nervous to let the staff take my dog off into a backroom but could deal with it since I assumed they were professionals. We waited for a long time. The vet (a very, very nice male vet) took us into a room and laid out the options for us. They hadn't found anything all that strange and offered us three options ranging from expensive (loads more tests), in the middle (some bloodwork and things) and cheap (take him home and watch). The vet also offered the option of our dog staying overnight at the vet clinic for observation. He didn't seem partial to any one solution and even left for a bit so we could discuss what we wanted to do. I didn't feel pressure or an sense of urgency to spend money. I decided to go with the middle plan and have some bloodwork done. The vet was more than happy to oblige. We hung out for another good chunk of time and waited. The bloodwork didn't turn up anything strange and he recommended that we check in with our regular vet later. I felt like the vet and the assistants took good care of my dog and would probably go back if our dog has any other emergency situations.
