Review content:
Upon hiring Lester, I paid a retainer. However, I quickly learned that the retainer was not for Lester to represent me but as Lester put it ""for his experience."" Within a day or two of retianing Lester, he wanted me to pay him additional funds that my retainer should have covered. Once I questioned Lester on his professionalism, he became aggressive towards me and continued to state that I should find a new attorney. After reqesting and receiving an invoice (5 days later), I realized Lester spent my entire $5,000 retainer on phone calls with the other attorney. I then questioned Lester about the multiple calls and the charges, Lester told me ""that I needed to pay him even more money or he would withdrawl."" I immediately fired Lester and he filed a Motion to Withdrawl. Funny thing, this is the second Motion he filed on my behalf. What was the first? Motion to be the Attorney of Record. \r

The only positive thing I can say about Lester Van SLyke is that I fired him. He is by far the most inefficent and ineffective attorney that I have ever met. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ATTORNEY!!!!
