Review content:
Last Sunday (4/13) our refrigerator went out and on monday I called Dick Van Dyke on Monday to set up a service  appointment for Tuesday. I kid you not that the tech walked in and told me it was the control board, which I knew from research, and proceeded to take down the model number and then tell me it was going to be $35 for the service call and left. The tech was literally in my house for 5 minutes. The tech also told me that he would get me a price on Wednesday, which I never received. This morning (Thurs)  finally received a call from the tech and he said the computers were down which is why I never received a call. I feel that for a company that touts customer service the customer service all around was poor. 1) if the tech knew the problem and knew tat you didn't have the board then why show up at all? Why not give a courtesy call and explain that from the discription you have diagnosed the problem and give a quote for servicing the appliance? 2) If the computers where truly down why not call and let me know, especially when you say you will call me in the morning.  Also, if the computers are down do you not have parts catalogs and a phone to call for prices? This was one of the worst customer service experiances that I have ever experianced.
