Review content:
Their incompetence is unbelievable. They didn't call to confirm the installation our new dishwasher and when the installers showed they didn't have the parts they needed to connect the water supply. The installers couldn't go to a hardware store to buy what they needed. They left a mess and said we would get a call the next morning which didn't happen. I purchased the parts and finished the installation myself. DON'T PAY THEM A DIME FOR INSTALLATION - GET SOMEONE ELSE!! RESPONSE FROM Dick Van Dyke Appliance World: We apologize that you feel that the installation process was not done in a professional manner. Our installers carry the most common installation parts on their trucks, and yes sometimes they may not have the most unique installation parts available. Our installer notified our customer service department of the installation issues with the water line. When my customer service department called to schedule a return visit you informed us the water line was installed. You shared with my staff that you had already done the installation yourself after obtaining the necessary fittings. When I heard that you finished the installation I offered you a refund of a portion of your installation labor. Our installer installed everything and was only unable to test the water line, which would have been taken care of the next day when we sent someone out to finish the unique installation. Again, I apologize that you feel the installation was poor, but we did everything that we could to try and make this right. We appreciate your business and hope to earn your patronage back in the future. Respectfully, A. Taylor Customer Service Supervisor
