Review content:
I was contacted by Alaskan Air Conditioning, to set up the service appointment. However, for whatever reason, I did not qualify for the usual $39.95 furnace inspection. I was told I needed the $69.95 system diagnostic.
The next day the technician arrived 2 hours late.
As soon as he entered the home, he started selling a Preventative Maintenance program to me before he saw the furnace. Then he tried to sell me a new furnace.
He was on the phone often with other technicians, trying to evaluate my furnace problem.
Once he realized the problem, he offered to repair the furnace for $900, but he had to order the part.
He did not provide a full system diagnostic.
I paid the $69.95 and ask him to leave my house, that I would consider his repair proposal.
The next day I contacted a local furnace repair company, they came out and repaired the furnace for $300, with no hassles or part ordering.
Do not use Alaskan Air Conditioning in Tucson, AZ.
