Vic's definitely has its own personality. It ain't no Raley's. Customer is not always right here. I witnessed this while waiting in line at the check out counter.
A gentleman inquired about fish, saying it looked frozen but the label said fresh. The manager gave him the brush-off. The gentleman was not a happy camper.
The clerk told the manager that the gentleman was not happy. He just want to talk to someone who cared.
Manager batted an eye or two but went on with his business.
I go to this market because it is in the neighborhood. I buy incidentals. I don't do my weekly shopping here, no way.
