Ten years ago I moved into Manhattan. Since I have had a few dental issues throughout my life one of the first things I needed to get in my new ""hood"" was to find a good, reliable, kind dentist. The only people I knew who lived in NYC were my work friends so I asked all of them for recommendations for a good dentist. One of my better friends at the time (who I trusted) said she had the perfect person for me. I took her word and made an appointment with Dr. Andrew Reingold. It was the best decision I made while living in Manhattan. I have moved cross country and back, had 4 cars, 2 kids, 5 apartments, and a house but only one things has stayed consistent in the past decade...taking all my dental problems to Dr. Reingold. I had many dentists in my life before Dr. R....none of them compare....whenever I have a problem, he fits me in, even if he has to work odd hours like later nights or even weekends on emergencies...he will call you at home to check up on you....and oh yeah his treatments are almost painless....and he also does impeccable work...before I got married, I went to him to make sure my smile was perfect....whether it's a filling or a cleaning or putting in a bridge, Dr. Reingold can do it well....i am a person who although I have spent a lot of time with them is sort of scared of dentists but Dr. Reingold makes you feel so at ease and comfortable during every appointment. He genuinely cares about you as a person as well as a patient...none of the things I am saying are exaggerations....let me sum up this review by telling you I now live way out in NJ but there was never a doubt that I was going to stop seeing Dr. Reingold, even if I have to sit on a train for a couple of hours to do it.....
