My husband surprised me with a trail ride at Benbrook Stables on our "Date Day". We were celebrating our 2nd anniversary and he had a whole day planned out just for me. We started out with a morning ride at Benbrook and it was the most wonderful way to begin our day!
We arrived early, so once we signed in, the owner encouraged us to walk around the barns and look at the horses while waiting for our trail boss. The horses all looked very fat and content, and the facilities were well cared for. I had horses growing up, so I can appreciate how much work it must take to keep everything looking as good as it did!
We went out on the trail with a small group of people, and our trail boss was very competent and encouraging to everyone. She talked with everyone and was friendly and intent on everything that was happening. We felt as if we were in very good hands! The trails were beautiful and the horses all seemed to enjoy themselves out there.
I sure hope my hubby plans on making a trail ride at Benbrook Stables a regular part of Date Day in the future!
