this sassy little shop at university village has a terrific range of shoes for little kids and the women who dress them. the brands tend to be higher end (darling, you can't wear shoes that cost more than mine) but darn, they are cool. there are almost always a dozen or so styles/colors on sale which means limited sizes but better prices and the nice thing about kids is that they'll always grow into something bought months (years?) before. the store gets crowded and the shelves are jam-packed with shoes but there is lots of butt room to sit down and try something on. also available are socks and tights and a few accessories like purses. a deep toy basket keeps non-sartorial children occupied while mom/auntie/grandma tries on the perfect mule.
