I took my truck in for a regular oil change and they noticed damage to my driveshaft that had been caused by having my U-joints replaced by a different mechanic. They were very clear about what it was going to take to repair it and quoted me a fair price. It was already late afternoon and there was not enough time to get it done that day but they told me it would be done by the middle of the following day and it was done when they said it would be. Because of work obligations, my wife needed to pick it up for me and Bill and the guys went above and beyond by offering to go pick her up at home and bring her to the shop to get it. I believe his exact words were, "We can go pick up your wife so she doesn't have to be without a vehicle while you're at work." To me, that shows a level of dedication to your customers and an understanding of what is important that is rarely seen.
