Review content:
They claim they back their products for 7-10 years! ( posted all over their store) Then they turn around and say I would have to pay if I needed service..what is wrong here? I will let all my family and friends know to NOT shop there!! This is not the first time they dicked me around!! RESPONSE FROM Dick Van Dyke Appliance World: I apologize for any inconvenience that you feel we may have caused with your recent service request. Our warranty covers all mechanical failures for 5 years and the major component for 10 years. We advertise and post this all over our stores. When I researched your service request I found multiple calls on your appliance repaired at no charge. The previous repairs were within 5 years of the purchase date and covered at no cost to you. However, at the time of your most recent service request your appliance was 6 years old. Therefore, you are required to pay for services rendered. I hope this helps to clarify our exclusive 5 year warranty and 10 year major component coverage. Sincerely, John Shepherd Sr. Vice President Dick Van Dyke Inc.
