TREAD LIGHTLY WHEN DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE AND DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. I did and little did I know I would need every bit of the information I've collected. I reported mice and pests (termites) in our unit dating back more than a year ago and the situation was handled improperly from the beginning. A toilet leaking through the walls into my apartment led to termites swarming and spreading in my unit. Ignorantly, I trusted this place with repairs and pest calls. I was not told my rights as a tenant and was lied to about "repairs" done in my apt. Once we figured out we were dealing with termites this community quickly dismissed our claim, pointed fingers and made assumptions about our case. Ignoring previous attempts to address pest here and acting passe with my complaints.They lied about dates I have called in and depended solely on the word of a shotty maintenance man (who tried to cover up his bad repairs). They promptly accused us of trying to get out of a termination fee and stated that we would be responsible for our termination fee to leave. ALL OF THE MITES WERE DISCOVERED WHILE WE WERE PACKING. Now somehow their bad repair is my fault. They are very unprofessional and proceeded without proper investigation or understanding that they are liable for the damage to my personal property. Sorry Summerlyn YOUR termites and mice are not MY PROBLEM. I would not recommend this place to any human being and I will be pursuing further action (for their inaction) in this community. Allegedly they have a long history of blaming the tenant and defending maintenance who lie to them regularly. Do not trust what maintenance or the office says to you if you live here. PLEASE BEWARE!
