Couldn't be happier; love them. Every morning I open then and at night close them. Never raise them; the reason I chose blinds in the first place. They also look good from the outside. I'm so glad you suggested the ""cloth"" covering the strings; I think that make a difference. The color is perfect. Glad you suggested wood because I would have thought faux would have been heavier. I don't think it took more than 30 minutes for Phillip to install them. He took more time playing with my dog who loved his attention. At some point I'll be replacing those sheers on the sliding glass door. But still don't know what I want. When I get ready I'll get in touch.
