If I could I would put negative stars, do not use this buiness. I took my car for an inspection after spending a good deal to make it pass. I was the first customer in that morning. I was told it wouldn't pass due to a leak in my power steering pump; I was told they could bring me to work, repair the problem & get that sticker on. The pump is a ""core"" item, so I would not get the faulty part returned to me as you only purchase reconditioned parts. I was then told the approximate price. I said I couldn't afford that & would check with my mechanic. The man then asked what I could afford - RED FLAG!!!! I took my car to the Ford house that afternoon (paying a diagnostic fee), my car was put on a rack (as the power steering pump is on the bottom of the engine) They checked it from end to end & opened the fulid reservoir & it was full. I took it back to Kwik Kar the next day & the guy showed me dirty motor oil buildup & asked if I saw why they would think it was power steering fluid. I was given a print out that looked EXACTLY the same as the day before, but now it said passed. I wonder just how much they would have accepted to allow me to purchase my sticker had my mechanic not told me to get my car & leave. He also advised I kiss my inspection money goodbye & go to a reputable garage. I wonder how many other people were misled this way...at anyrate I will never return there & will tell everyone I can not to use this business; hello internet.
