We have been going to Seneca Animal hospital for almost 10 yrs. I have a lot of pets and always felt they did a good job until now. This is the first time one of my pets has had a serious illness. My 10 yr pug was diagnosed with diabetes and possible cushings disease. He was really sick he lost 5 lbs was not eating. The vet started him on insulin I asked about a follow up several times and they were vague about having him come back. Check his glucose in a couple of weeks and call us. I have a glucometer so i checked a fasting glucose 5 days after he started the insulin and his glucose was almost 400. I called them for direction and the vet had he secretary call me back with this snarky response ""Stop checking his glucose he will HATE you"" i had done the glucose once since he started the insulin.. I will not be taking my pets back to Seneca Animal hospital and would NOT RECOMMEND them ….
