I had never been to the "old" Tings, but my date for the evening was bowled over by the difference in their newly remodeled and expanded site. And it was truly lovely--light and spacious with wide aisles and soft music playing. Their bar is huge and appeared to be well-stocked.
Our food was tasty and plentiful--enough for lunch the next day. We ordered shrimp with veggies, which were very crisp, some sort of a spiced chicken dish, and a side of eggplant something-or-other that our waitress recommended. Yummy! Topped off with a glass of plum wine and some tea and we were happy campers!
