I've got an older car. It's a 1973 Monte Carlo. Older cars require maintenance as they get older. I've had engine work done with T & K Transmission & Automotive Specialists and they basically got her back pretty near close to the level of what it was when she was new. I just recently got front end work done with them. Everything is just really tight. There's a noticeable difference between the way it was before and the way it is now.
They have also have made suggestions and recommendations on future maintenance and what I might consider and how much time it would take. They are very adaptable to working with my schedule. I would set out and say, "Well, I can't bring it in this month, but next month I can set aside two days." I know I can call ahead of time and pretty much get it in and out on time.
Detroit and myself are the only ones who have had this car. I've been with T & K for ten years. They were originally AAMCO representatives and my transmission has a lifetime warranty with AAMCO. I was with them when they were AAMCO and when they ceased to have a relationship, it was natural for me to stay with them. Robert at the Irving location does an excellent job of working with the client.
