OVERPRICED, rude bartenders, stalking waitresses almost FORCING YOU to buy drinks, and it was just a Tuesday night for heaven's sake! \r
\r
One hour of snooker play could easily cost some $50 for a group of 4-5, DRINKS EXCLUDED! $8 for a local beer?! The fool and his money.. \r
\r
I felt I was totally ripped off, but it might not be too late for you. \r
\r
Story made short: We were 5 people.. 3 of us couldn't care less about the game, much less touch the cue. They just sat at the counter, ordered a couple of beers having a basic chit chat after work, watching me and my buddy play. \r
\r
After 42 minutes of playing at One table, The bill came out at an outrageous $112.50.\r
I asked politely: Pardon me, but could you explain my bill to me. I feel it's more expensive than I thought. \r
Bartender said he had never had anyone questioning his bill before.\r
\r
I said OK let's make this a first but what was the charge for? He said the rates are $9.5 per person and you're 5 people. Total is $47.50 for play alone. \r
\r
I said.. Okay but only 2 people played. The waitress is my witness u could ask her.. He went on saying: I don't care whether your other buddies play or not. These are the RULES, If they don't wanna play, they should just sit at the bar here and order drinks, NOT be with you at the Billiards table! \r
\r
then he engaged in a discussion with another customer, totally ignoring me. \r
\r
Total loss: $112.50, low service, urine-hot beer, and a sickening attitude from a bartender who derives his ethics from reality show contestants.. \r
\r
You learn the hard way. \r
NEVER again.. \r
You wanna play Billiards? There are gazillion other places in the city that charge per table, not person! Do your homework. Don't fall for their SCAM like I did :( \r
